PEC Update, July 18, 2007

At the January 5 PEC Summit in Richmond, we set a goal to raise $500,000 by June 30 to ensure that we had the funds necessary to continue to challenge the actions of the Board of Trustees.

We are delighted to announce that with your support for the $100,000 matching gift challenge and an additional $22,000 gift from our anonymous donor, we reached our goal. We have raised slightly more than $505,000 to date with almost forty percent of the total funds having been donated since June 1.

The shared commitment of more than one thousand alumnae to the fight to preserve Randolph-Macon Woman's College is truly inspirational, and we want to thank each and every donor who helped us reach this milestone.
